KL Eco Park Walk
In the midst of busy KL, there is a small nature park at Bukit Nanas.
I walked from Westin to the entrance to KL Eco Park. It is a 25 mins walk. It is pleasant morning walk. I was fortunate there are some clouds to shield me from the morning walk.
The entrance to the park is on the left of the picture. The building has an exhibition about the native species of the ecosystem.
I walked inside the building. It is pretty empty and the aircon is weak. There are photos of various trees and plants in the park.
There is a small exhibit of the natural rocks and minerals in the area.
There is a children play area. It is kid friendly.
There is a display of local Malaysian butterfly species.
I walked outside the building. I was trying to find the entrance to the park. I thought the entrance to the park is behind the building. I manage to discover the entrance. I wish the signs are clearer.
A closer view of the map. Initially, I thought the area is large. But I was wrong.
There are families of tourist exploring the park.
As I made my way up the park, there are clear signage in the park. Seems Tea Booth is a popular stop to get some drinks.
I wanted to see if I can squeeze the height of the tree into a single frame. It appears that it is taller than I thought.
KL eco park has lots of signage to show the history. There is a earth trial to explore.
There is an empty tea booth
The canopy walk is the most popular trial among the locals and tourists. I decided to take the simple route.
As I climbed up the stairs, I can see the fern house.
There is a path on ceramic titles that lead you to a different part of the park.
These are stairs that lead you to the canopy walk.
You need to the top of the structure to access the canopy walk
Directions towards the walkway. you cannot get lost here.
They have build a staircase that leads you up the tree top walk
The place looks decently safe to walk. There is a map.
