Colonial Terraces at Jalan Hang Jebat
This is a sleepy side of Queenstown.
It is nested behind the Mosque and old railway park connector.
This is the cul de sea street. Nice houses line up along the street, It must be at least 60 years old. Almost during the pre-independence period of Singapore.
Unlike the old GCB, these are terraces. Each block as a few units. Each unit is a single story. It makes it interesting architecturally. The entrance to the second floor is via the back.
Since, it does not have a car poach, cars are parked along the side of the road.
The road is quiet and it is typically a nice walk in the evening.
This is the entrance from the other side of the estate via Queenstown. It is now a vacant state land. But in next few years, it shall be developed into HDB and private apartments. There is a slope upwards.
This is Queenstown side entrance. It is now blocked as it is a vacant land. I recall this area used to have old blocks of HDB flats. IT has been torn down. Waiting for future development.
There is a nice pathway that leads you to the mosque.

It is a heritage site.
Worshippers can park here.
This is the HDB terraces. Nice quiet living. Each family occupies a single floor. There are four units in the photo.
Nice greenery in front of the unit.
