Osaka is the second largest city in Japan. There are several lines in Osaka. Each line appears to be run by different companies. The JR trains are different from the regular city train lines. This is a typical train. It is rather wide.
This is a normal overhead train.
There are many shophouses in the city.
A typical food shop
Behind the large shopping mall, there are these shophouses lined up along the narrow lanes.
These locality is several train stops from the Westin hotel. I am heading towards the river.
Fish market. It is busy in the early morning. Now is late morning. Most of the crowd has gone.

There are several shops that sell different types of food.

Inside a shopping mall, in a toy department. it brings me memories of my childhood.
Lego is popular here. There various lego models depicting parts of Osaka.
dinner time. We picked a small shop. It is a typical ramen shop.
On the way back to the hotel, I swing by the xmas fair. ti is not opened yet. Looks like I will be missing the opening as I have to head back home when it is opened.
So sad...
I walked outside the hotel for some night shots of the surrounding.
