Bukit Timah Reserve - Hindhede
Bukit Timah reserve is a popular hangout for nature lovers.
It has gone through many upgrades to allow visitors to appreciate green nature in the concrete jungle.
This is the entrance of the car park. The Bukit Timah default railway crossing.
A flight of stairs that lead up to the Bukit Timah railway.
One can hike or cycle along this green lung.
From the top, one can have a view of the surroundings. Nothing impressive.
A good way to plan your route.
Visitor centre about the area. There are samples of plant species in the exhibition area.
There is nice pathway that leads you to Hindehe reserve.
IT is not easy to navigate by following the signs
I look down at the winding path. it is disable friendly and easy to walk. I recall it use to have many monkeys during morning and early afternoon. Since, it is late in the afternoon, the monkeys are not in sight.
Nice hut to rest.

One can take either paths to the quarry.
Soon, I reach the quarry. There are nature photographers.
Quarry is filled with water. There turtles and fishes.
After a while, decided to head back.
There is a small playground in the reserve. A flying fox station!!
