Mid Autumn Festival Lanterns in Day

Typically, one will admire these lanterns at night. Given the limited time, I decided to to the opposite.

I cycled around Vivocity and Chinatown to photograph these lovely lanterns. These lanterns are intricate. I am sure it is more beautiful at night.

I started fro Chinatown main road. From a distance, one can see the decorations on the both sides of the road.
There are several large postage stamps that greets the visitor. These stamps are the landmarks of Singapore.

 I disembarked from the bike and walk closer for a shot with my phone. There are streams of cloth hung across the lamp posts.

I rode across the road. One can observe the change in lanterns decoration from the future to the past of Singapore. There icons of cable cars, universal studio and gardens by the bay landmarks.
In the distance , it is iconic PearlBank condo that is being torn down for a  new condo called One Pearl.

I cycled to Vivocity to capture the Alice in Wonderland theme on the rooftop. It is quite empty in the morning.
